05 / SEROUI TIME
GEULGYEOL. Hours and minutes stand in columns of words, while seconds flow through a small seal. A different way to read time on your wrist and Home Screen.
A DIFFERENT DIRECTION
A change of direction from the familiar horizontal clock. Read the hour on the right and the minutes on the left, from top to bottom. The date, weekday and seconds seal complete the moment.

A seal sets the changing seconds apart from the hours and minutes. Apple and Google use different seal layouts suited to each platform.
Themes draw on Korean paper and ink, traditional Japanese patterns, and Chinese porcelain and ink painting. Read time through lettering and colors chosen for each theme.
